The safety net for everyday dog life

Know what’s going on with your dog.

Koiru keeps feedings, walks, medication and small observations in one shared view — for the whole family, in real time.

Why Koiru?

Because a dog’s day has too much to remember.

Has someone already fed her? Did we go for a walk today? Is the limp new or old? Small questions you don’t always have the answer to. Koiru is built for them — a shared memory for the whole family that quietly keeps things in one place, so you don’t have to.

What Koiru is built for

Clarity, perspective, tracking. That’s what Koiru is built for.

Clarity

Everything from your dog’s day in one place. You see when they ate, who took them out, and what has changed lately — without having to ask.

Perspective

When something worries you, you see it in the context of your dog’s own routine. No guessing alone — Koiru helps you tell whether the change is small or worth a vet check.

Tracking

Koiru remembers what an ordinary week looks like for your dog. If the rhythm changes — shorter walks, later meals — you’ll get a heads-up the moment it shows.

Diary

Logging takes seconds.

Feeding, walks, medication or a small observation — one tap and it’s saved.

  • See who logged what
  • Long-press opens more detailed fields
  • Snap the medicine box or the symptom — no typing

Moments

When Koiru steps in.

A beagle puppy sleeps on a soft couch

When the puppy refuses food two days in a row

And you can’t remember when she last ate properly. The timeline shows it instantly.

A dog rests by a window with trees outside

When Grandma takes Max for a walk and you’re at work

Her entry shows up on your phone right away. No phone calls to check whether the dog has been out.

When you’re not sure if the limp is new

Tassutulkki looks at Max’s last few months — and tells you whether to keep watching or call the vet.

Gentle reminders

Reminders that know your dog’s rhythm.

The classic 8 AM and 6 PM reminders work just fine — but Koiru also notices when walks get shorter than usual, or when feeding has drifted later. Only when something actually changes.

Max’s eating rhythm seems to have changed

The last few days, feeding has been later than usual. Want to take a look together?

Tassutulkki

When something worries you, you don’t have to sit with it alone.

Tassutulkki helps you make sense of the situation. It looks at your dog’s own history and gives a measured read on whether things look ordinary or worth a closer look.

Four possible directions

Nothing obvious to worry about

Keep an eye out as usual.

Keep an eye on it

Log what you see, and let’s check again in the next few days.

Might be worth showing a vet

In the next few days — not urgent.

Contact a vet today

Call the vet today. The on-call clinic if there is one nearby.

Tassutulkki does not replace a vet’s assessment.

Family

One view for the whole family.

When your partner feeds the dog, you see it right away. When the kids take them out for a walk, that shows up too. No more wondering whether the dog has been fed.

How it works

Easy to start, easy to keep up.

A few minutes to set up, seconds a day after that — and your dog’s daily life stays together without you having to remember.

  1. Add your dog and invite the family

Set up a profile for your dog and share it with your partner or family using an 8-character code.

  2. Log everyday life in seconds

Feeding, walks, medication, a symptom — one tap. Everyone in the family sees it right away.

  3. Get gentle nudges

When something drifts away from the usual, Koiru tells you calmly. No alarm bells, no spam.

FAQ

Good questions, straight answers.

Does Tassutulkki replace a vet?

No. Tassutulkki helps you sense whether it’s time to see the vet, or whether you can wait a little. The diagnosis is always the vet’s job. If you’re worried, just give them a call.

Is Koiru free?

The diary, family sharing and reminders are free — and they’ll stay that way. Premium adds Tassutulkki and the longer history of your dog’s days.

What information do you store?

Only what you log yourself: entries, photos and the basics about your dog. Data is stored in the EU, and you can delete your account whenever.

Does Koiru work for households with multiple dogs?

Yes. With Premium you can add as many dogs as you have — each with their own diary and their own reminders.

What does "Tassutulkki compares against history" mean?

Tassutulkki looks at whether something similar has happened to your dog before, and what helped then. So the answer is rooted in your dog’s own life — not just generic advice.
